1. What does Clinical Services Offer?
We offer individual, group therapy and behavioral services. We also provide a comprehensive assessment option through our Behavior Assessment Clinic.
2. What is the Behavior Assessment Clinic?
An interdisciplinary team of professionals meets with you, family members and anyone else you would like, to review all presenting problems. We write up a comprehensive report detailing recommendations for your care.
3. Who is the Clinical Team?
Services are provided by a highly experienced team including psychiatrists, licensed psychologists, licensed professional counselors and board certified behavior analysts.
4. Can I Receive Individual Therapy?
Individual treatment sessions are available to help with a variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, substance abuse, cognitive restructuring and personality disorders. We also help people manage their medications.
5. Do You Offer Group Therapy?
Yes, we have several groups that meet differing interests and needs.
Anger Management, Social and Relationship Skills, A Women’s Support Group and Teen Talk – “Strategies for the Good Life are the most popular.
6. Do you offer drug and alcohol treatment?
We have two groups for adult men and women. Participants gain an understanding of dependence and learn relapse strategies. We reinforce themes of healthy choices and learning to enjoy living clean and sober.
7. Do you offer Individual Behavior Consultation?
Our behavior consultation is tailored to the needs of each customer. We also provide support to families and caregivers.
8. Do you do testing and evaluation?
We provide a variety of psychological and behavioral evaluations including:
IQ testing, neuropsychological evaluation, adaptive behavior testing, social/sexual skills screening assessment and functional behavior assessment.
9. Do you provide education and training for professionals in the field?
Denver Options is a leader in training mental health professionals in the needs of people with developmental disabilities through our training division, CTAT-Training. You can learn behavior intervention and functional analysis, ISSP development and implementation, dual diagnoses – mental health diagnoses. We also cover personality disorders and substance abuse and sponsor internships from area higher-education institutions.
