What is the Play and Learn Library?
This library features developmental and adaptive toys for children birth to three who have unique abilities and learning needs. The library provides toys and equipment to therapists and families of young children who would otherwise not have access to them.

How is the Play and Library Funded?
The development of the library was funded by Citigroup Foundation and the Denver Options’ Jump Start fund. Funding for the library will be provided by private donations.

What kinds of toys are in the library?
Toys are available that can reinforce speech, motor development and thinking skills. Switches are provided so that children can play with battery operated toys they might not be able to play with otherwise. Adaptive seating is available for children needing physical support to play or interact with others. The library has toys to help children with vision and hearing challenges explore the magic of play.

How can I support the Play and Learn Library?
The Play and Learn Library is funded by private donations. The Citigroup Foundation and the Jump Start fund provided seed money to create the library for our families and therapists. Here are some ways your contribution can help children using the Play and Learn Library:
- $10-15 purchases books, blocks or a lighted puzzle
- $20-25 purchases a cause and effect toy or an educational DVD or CD for parents
- $25-30 purchases tactile therapy toys
- $35-40 purchases a massager, keyboard or musical instruments
- $40-50 purchases a riding toy
- $100-150 purchases a switch and toy
- $200-500 purchases a small walker/gait trainer or a lighted table for children with visual impairments
